You can even have the recipe for free:\n\n<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chocolate Chip Coconut Cookies (High Altitude Recipe)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"ticss-2d18bd2a wp-block-list\"><li>1 C.&nbsp;+ 2 T.&nbsp; unbleached all-purpose flour<\/li><li>1\/4 tsp. salt<\/li><li>1\/4 tsp. baking&nbsp;soda<\/li><li>6 T. butter, melted<\/li><li>1\/2 C. brown sugar<\/li><li>1\/4 C. minus 1 T. white sugar<\/li><li>1 extra-large egg<\/li><li>1 egg yolk<\/li><li>2 tsp. vanilla<\/li><li>2 C. chocolate chips<\/li><li>1\/3 C. coconut <\/li><li>1\/3 C. chopped, toasted pecans (optional)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"ticss-96bbf0db wp-block-list\"><li>Heat oven to 350 degrees.&nbsp; Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.<\/li><li>Cool the melted butter slightly.&nbsp; Beat melted butter and sugars together.<\/li><li>Add egg, yolk, and vanilla.&nbsp; Beat until blended.<\/li><li>Add salt and baking soda, beat or mix well.<\/li><li>Stir in flour by hand until just incorporated.<\/li><li>Stir in chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans until just incorporated.&nbsp; <em>Do not overmix.<\/em><\/li><li>Form into balls 2 tablespoons each.<\/li><li>Bake 12-15 minutes or until cookies are just beginning to turn golden.<\/li><li>Let cool on baking sheets for about 10 minutes before removing. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These chocolate chip cookies are a so good that I honor them as payment for home repairs.
